My mom came to visit and we got our nails done at A Nails. They turned out great and the techs did an amazing job. I'll be back in soon!
I don't know what happened. Usually the service is great. But this time, there was no response to friendly conversation. Ok fine. You don't have to talk to me. But when it came time to paint my nails, he dumped out the samples. "This is what I have". I asked if he had glitter polish. He kept saying no small. I said what about French tip ? He said no. It wouldn't look good. He pointed to the samples and said that's what I have. I realized he was saying that he didn't have small brushes . Uh ok. I then described what I wanted( which was a solid color with two stripes in another color) and he said he'd charge me an additional $55. What?! I guess he really didn't want to do my nails! He was rude and curt the entire time. I didn't care for the selection and I went there to get something cute. So I just decided to leave. I paid $35 for the fill, told him I was disappointed and upset (which he didn't have a response to) and left. I don't know what that was about but I'm never going back there.
This was my first time to A Nails as I'm a Canadian travelling through the U.S. I almost wasn't going to go because of the review score which was only 3.8. (before I went). I do know though with reviews, people are more apt to leave a negative review than a positive one, so you always have to take ratings with a grain of salt.
My experience was a definite 5/5. Kim was very professional and efficient. My acrylic nails took only an hour from start to finish and were the best set I've had done in the past 6 months of travelling in the U.S. The shop was clean and all Covid protocols are in place, including Kim giving me the nail file and brush she used on me, so nice to know they take hygiene very seriously. Kim also spoke English well and this shop is run by herself and husband, so wonderful to support a local family business. I would HIGHLY recommend A Nails. Thank you Kim for the excellent service and the excellent price of only $41 for a complete Acrylic nail refill with gel polish.

I called earlier in the day to schedule an appointment and she said to come at 2:00. I there at 2:00 and there was someone sitting in the chair who had just sat down. And I said I'm here for my 2:00 appointment she asked the woman in the chair did she have an appointment and the lady said nothing. So instead of honoring appointment she started the lady's nails in front of me. I asked her how long would it be and she said have a seat. I left because when you have an appointment you are to honor that you don't know what a person has going on

I was going to Vegas and had my nails done here. Two days later, the day I got to Vegas,
the gel finger nails started coming off and my gel pedicure nails started coming off a week later. Several of the toes polish came off in one big piece. Not worth 100 bucks for not lasting that long.
Very rude, and they overcharged my sister's, and I. My sisters nails were crooked. We paid twice as much for a fill, and they have the nerve to ask for a tip if they have been doing nails for over 30 years, I expect it to be flawless. And they just called my sister just yelling and Cursing at her just now very unprofessional we will take our business elsewhere. I do not recommend them at all
